The SAT is not a test of memorization. It rewards pattern recognition, strategic thinking, and consistent practice. In this introductory workshop, students will learn how the Digital SAT Verbal section is designed, where to focus their efforts, and how to create a study plan that leads to meaningful score improvement.
• Understand the main skill categories that the SAT evaluates and how to identify them.
• Learn important strategies for selecting the correct grammatical and rhetorical responses.
• Recognize common patterns, traps, and mistakes that frequently appear on the exam.
• Learn how the SAT rewards consistent practice habits and pattern recognition over cramming and memorization.
• Hands-on practice with authentic SAT-style verbal questions featuring step-by-step explanations and strategy recommendations.
Students will leave with practical strategies they can immediately apply to future SAT practice tests and a clearer understanding of where to focus their preparation for maximum score gains.
