WayPath Academics Policies & Privacy
Our Commitment
At WayPath Academics, we are committed to creating a supportive, respectful, and professional learning environment for every student and family we serve. Our goal is to help students build confidence, competence, self-awareness, and the skills necessary to navigate their educational journey with greater independence.
Scheduling & Cancellation Policy
Tutoring sessions are reserved specifically for your student. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.
Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, missed appointments, or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee.
Cancellation fees vary by service and will be communicated during onboarding. Most academic tutoring sessions are subject to a $100.00 cancellation fee, while some specialty services and test preparation sessions may have different policies.
Repeated late cancellations may result in the loss of reserved time slots.
Payment Policy
Invoices are generally sent monthly unless otherwise arranged.
WayPath Academics accepts payment through QuickBooks invoices, credit card payments, and approved educational funding programs, including Step Up For Students when applicable.
Families utilizing Step Up For Students funding remain responsible for ensuring funds are approved and allocated in a timely manner.
Credits resulting from schedule changes, overpayments, or adjustments will be applied to future invoices or refunded when appropriate.
Student Progress
While our team works diligently to support each student's growth, educational outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
Progress depends on many factors, including attendance, consistency, student effort, completion of recommended work outside of sessions, school expectations, learning profile, and individual circumstances.
Our role is to provide expert instruction, guidance, accountability, and support while helping students develop the skills and habits necessary for long-term success.
Privacy & Confidentiality
WayPath Academics respects the privacy of every student and family.
Information shared with our staff is used solely for educational planning, communication, scheduling, billing, and student support purposes.
We do not sell, distribute, or share personal information with third parties except as required by law or when necessary to provide requested services.
Media & Publicity
At WayPath Academics, we love celebrating student growth and success.
From time to time, we may share student achievements, photos, videos, student work samples, testimonials, college acceptances, scholarship awards, or success stories through our website, social media channels, newsletters, and other promotional materials.
WayPath Academics will never publicly disclose a student's learning disability, diagnosis, testing results, accommodations, grades, or other confidential educational information without explicit permission from the parent or legal guardian.
Families who prefer that their child not be included in photographs, videos, testimonials, student work examples, or promotional content may notify us in writing at any time by replying to an email or contacting us directly. We will gladly honor those preferences and update our records accordingly.
Student privacy and dignity will always remain a priority.
