ACT English Boot Camp 2/10/26 and 2/11/26
$75 (covers both sessions)
Our ACT English Boot Camp is a two-part, 180-minute experience designed to help students sharpen strategy, master high-impact rules, and approach the English section with confidence.
Session 1: Rules, Rhetoric, and the Tricky Stuff
In the first 90-minute session, we focus on the most frequently tested grammar and rhetorical skills—with extra attention on the question types students consistently find most challenging. We break down why the ACT prefers certain answers and how to spot traps quickly and efficiently.
Skills covered include:
Punctuation (commas, semicolons, colons, dashes)
Sentence structure (run-ons, fragments, modifiers)
Verb tense and agreement
Pronouns and antecedent clarity
Concision and redundancy
Organization, transitions, and logical flow
Author’s purpose and tone questions
“Best choice” and “least acceptable” questions
Session 2: Guided Practice & Answer Choice Strategy
The second 90-minute session is highly interactive and practice-driven. Students work through real ACT-style questions with guided support, learning how to evaluate answer choices, eliminate wrong options efficiently, and make confident final selections—even when multiple answers seem plausible.
We’ll focus on:
Step-by-step elimination strategies
Recognizing common ACT distractors
Deciding between two “almost right” answers
Managing pacing without rushing
Applying rules under timed conditions
This boot camp is ideal for students who want a structured final push, clearer decision-making strategies, and a stronger, more confident approach to the ACT English section on test day.
